"A bit for jest, a bit so as not to die!" Ettore Petrolini said quoting Madama Butterfly. And isn't it precisely to exorcise death that man, or someone higher up, invented laughter? And what's better, then, than turning a bad tragedy, the famous Hamlet by Shakespeare, into a farce that can make you die... laughing? Three wacky comedic actors will desperately try in a mysterious race against time: vaudeville, futuristic comedic theater, cabaret, variety show, Yiddish humor are all mixed in a big pot with the words of the English bard.

A surreal homage to the comedy of the 20th century and its history: a relentless joyful ride between jests, tricks, and pranks fleeing from a tragedy that meanwhile pursues, approaches, doesn't surrender, and above all, does not resign to defeat. It wants to reclaim what is its own. Doubt arises that there is little to laugh about now. Yet... "We don't have much to lose anymore, it seems. Might as well... Have fun. Right?"
