The Odd Couple is an example of how Neil Simon, the most brilliant and prolific author of comedy theater in the second half of the 20th century, always manages to find that touch of sympathetic madness in everyday life. It tells the difficult and complicated cohabitation between two men with diametrically opposed personalities. Felix and Oscar, united by a divorce, decide to live together in an apartment located in one of the many skyscrapers of New York, on Riverside Drive. This daily clash will give rise to continuous and hilarious gags, ensuring guaranteed entertainment in the theatrical version proposed and interpreted by the new couple Gianluca Guidi and Giampiero Ingrassia. When Oscar suggests continuing to see each other with their other friends for the usual poker game, despite the recent dramatic arguments, Felix replies that he has not closed the door on poker at all, because marriages come and go, but the game is like the show: it must go on.
