NEW DRESSED was born in the winter of 2011, from an idea by four guys united by a single passion: DEPECHE MODE.
Gianluca, Matteo, Angelo, and Gianni immediately sought to recreate the typical sounds and atmospheres of the band that has made a significant mark on electronic music since the 1980s, as well as being one of the most influential bands in the modern historical-musical scene.
NEW DRESSED aim to realize and bring all DM-marked tracks to a LIVE show.
Implementing the initial idea is not simple: faithfully reproducing the extensive production of DEPECHE MODE represents a substantial challenge.
However, the winding path before them does not discourage the ND members, who, armed with a good dose of patience and technical and musical skill, set a technological assault machine in motion: PCs, samplers, arpeggiators become their best companions.
Thanks to this work, during ND's shows, one can hear the typical 80s sound: from the drum snare to the synths.
The electronic and rhythmic section is, of course, crowned by Matteo’s baritone voice, which perfectly echoes Dave Gahan's frequencies, and in acoustic key songs, Martin L. Gore’s vocal timbre.
The ND lineup is one of the few to be complete - voice, guitar, drums, and synth - in the national scene of DM cover bands.
The tracks included in ND's setlist outline the entire history of DM: starting in 1981 with JUST CAN’T GET ENOUGH, moving through BLACK CELEBRATION, NEVER LET ME DOWN AGAIN, STRANGE LOVE, EVERYTHING COUNTS, QUESTION OF TIME, BEHIND THE WHEEL, PHOTOGRAPHIC.
The tribute to the band’s history obviously cannot miss other milestones: PERSONAL JESUS, ENJOY THE SILENCE, WRONG, SUFFERWELL, PRECIOUS, IT’S NO GOOD, and STRIPPED, up to tracks from the latest albums with WHERE’S THE REVOLUTION and GHOSTS AGAIN.
Over the years, there have been many LIVE appointments that saw ND take the stage in many "cult" places of live music, including venues, squares, clubs, and discos in the musical landscape of southern Italy and beyond.

- the stop at "NORDWIND" in Bari
- the concert at "HADES Live Music" in Naples
- the "30th DEPECHE MODE PARTY" - organized by the legendary DJ Violet Tear - at the prestigious "Demodé Disco Club" in Bari on December 6, 2014
- the full 3-hour concert at the 25th edition of the “Beer Festival of Cassano (BA)” on August 25, 2017
- the sold-out of the second "DEPECHE MODE NIGHT" at "Summer Cafe Lido Pascià" in Barletta (BT) on August 22, 2018
- the exclusive performance on the final evening of Neuleininger Burgsommer 2023 in Germany - at Neuleiningen Castle - on July 22, 2023
- the return to the 31st edition of the “Beer Festival of Cassano (BA)” on August 20, 2023
- the participation at the "FICO! BEER FEST 2024" at the Elephant Park in Marina di Ginosa (TA) on August 3, 2024
