Laurelli's work is structured on the informal lexicon revised and corrected by an instinctual geometry, which, so to speak, and its morphologies maintain connotations concluded by curvilinear or rectilinear "features" in an articulated variety of solutions that also include a sort of wavy ribbons . In Laurelli 'there is a compositional freedom that recalls certain outcomes of the Sixties, in this case those that were simultaneously affected by the New Figuration and the aniconic aggregations reminiscent of the informal season. This leads to the coexistence in its oils of more defined elements with freer solutions, both sign and open.
