EXPERIENCE LAB- con Pino Incredix presso il Museo del Territorio

In the year marking the 30th anniversary of the UNESCO World Heritage inscription of the Trulli of Alberobello, the Casa Pezzolla Museum of the Territory presents a series of immersive experiences designed to connect visitors with the authentic spirit of the local area.
The Museum's first Experience Lab is dedicated to stone, one of Puglia's most iconic materials. For centuries, local stone has shaped the landscape of the Itria Valley. It is the material from which the trulli, dry-stone walls, and the area's distinctive architecture were built, embodying a centuries-old building tradition and a profound harmony between people and nature.
Guided by Pino Giacovelli, known professionally as Incredix—a Puglian designer, artisan, and maker—participants will discover traditional stone-working techniques through a hands-on workshop that combines craftsmanship, creativity, and contemporary design.
Following a brief introduction to the characteristics of the material and the techniques used to work it, each participant will be guided through every stage of creating their own handcrafted object, from shaping and carving to the final finishing touches.
As Pino Incredix explains:

by creating small design objects."
At the end of the workshop, each participant will take home a unique handcrafted stone souvenir, presented in a personalized tote bag. More than a simple keepsake, it will be a tangible memory of an authentic experience and a symbol of a cultural heritage that continues to live through craftsmanship.


About Pino Incredix
Pino Giacovelli, professionally known as Incredix, is a Puglian designer, artisan, and maker based in Locorotondo, where he founded INCREDIX Lab Design, a creative workshop dedicated to design, experimentation, and the handcrafted production of design objects, artistic installations, and educational experiences.
His artistic research explores materials as a language of expression, working with stone, wood, resin, and reclaimed materials to create works that combine traditional craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainability.
Throughout his career, he has exhibited at numerous contemporary design events, including several editions of Milan Design Week (Fuorisalone), and has collaborated with architects, interior designers, galleries, and cultural institutions. His work has been featured in national and international architecture and design publications.
Alongside his artistic practice, he regularly leads workshops and educational activities for schools, students, and visitors, promoting local craftsmanship, the use of natural materials, and the creative reuse of resources. His design philosophy—summed up by the expression "Hand-Thought Design" (Pensato a mano)—celebrates making, experimentation, and the connection between creativity, local identity, and innovation.
